The Department of Laboratory Medicine in Inha University Hospital Incluses 7 examination parts of Clinical Chemistry, Diagnostic Hematology, Special Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Diagnostic Immunology, Blood Bank, and Urinalysis.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine supplies the clinical information for the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and serves as the connection between clinical medicine and basic science.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine helps the research and development for the purpose of improving diagnostic methods and the application of basic science for effective diagnosis.
Four staffs specialized in the respective areas are taking responsibility of verification, interpretation, consultation, and scholastic research for the examination results. Most of examinations are performed by the skilled 45 medical technologists, using advanced automation devices.
