According to the recent statistics, as the average lifespan of the people increases, the importance of disease prevention and early diagnosis has become more critical since one in three of population may face cancer at some point in their lives. Frequent occurrences of cancers such as the stomach cancer, colorectal cancer and liver cancer and the arising incidence of the cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer in the digestive system pose significant threats to human health and well-being. Therefore, prioritizing prevention and detecting the early phases of these diseases is the utmost importance.

In order to practice future-oriented medical technology that meets the demands of the era and society, we have equipped our department with various diagnostic techniques and state-of-the-art equipments(such as gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, liver fibrosis scan, abdominal ultrasound, biofeedback, high-resolution impedance manometry for the esophagus, anal manometry and 24-hour esophageal pH monitoring), we are dedicated to provide integrated specialized medical services to focus on the intensive management of gastrointestinal symptoms.
